ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
1st emergency-admission department provides emergency medical care around the clock to patients who are brought in by an ambulance or who are seeking help on their own. Patients are examined by internal medicine doctors, and if necessary after the initial examination - specialist doctors: urologists, vascular surgeons, cardiologists, abdominal surgeons.
There are 8 observation type beds in the reception-emergency department.
When applying to the 1st emergency-admission department, the patient must have:
- a doctor’s referral for inpatient treatment or outpatient consultation;
- identity document (passport, permanent residence permit in Lithuania, driving license, birth certificate for children under 16 years of age);
- there is a charge for medical advice and medical care for those who do not have these documents or who seek treatment independently without a doctor’s referral.
MEDICAL SERVICES
If you need a specialist consultation, it is not necessary to admit to a hospital. At our hospital, you can also consult a doctor on an outpatient basis. Consultations of specialists in urology, vascular surgery, abdominal surgery, nephrology, midwifery and gynecology, neonatology, internal medicine, cardiology, pediatrics, pediatric pulmonology, pediatric cardiology, physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists.
